Police arrested a 62-year-old man for allegedly killing a 17-year-old girl in Barangay Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City on Wednesday, April 30.

The suspect was arrested 36 hours after a massive manhunt operation against the suspect was conducted.
"The regional command of Police Regional Office-10 under the leadership of Police Brig. Gen. Jaysen C. de Guzman commended the swift and effective response of our pursuing police force," said PRO 10-Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) chief Police Major Joann G. Navarro on Thursday, May 1.
