SSI Group hit by software switch
Manila Bulletin
|August 18, 2025
Tantoco-led retailer SSI Group, Inc. reported a 37.8 percent drop in net income for the first half of 2025 to P451.8 million from P726.3 million in the same period last year due to weaker consumer demand for mid to upscale goods.
The company generated sales of P13.4 billion in January to June, an increase of 1.6 percent as compared to P13.2 billion in the same period in 2024. For the second quarter alone, sales decreased by 1.6 percent to P6.6 billion.
Sales in the second quarter were negatively affected by implementation issues related to the Group’s switch to an SAP and ETP Enterprise Resource Planning Systems.
