Nanny, 3-year-old girl die in Malabon fire; house razed in Muntinlupa

A nanny and a three-year-old girl died while another child remained in critical condition after a fire hit their residence in Barangay Tinajeros, Malabon City, on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire started at 12:05 a.m. and was extinguished at 12:38 a.m.

The firemen recovered the bodies of the deceased, with the nanny appearing to have shielded the young child from the fire with her own body.
