Lucky Manzano makes showbiz comeback

Lucky made a surprise appear-ance at the premiere of “Sins of the Father” at Gateway 2 in Araneta City on June 13, to support his wife, actress Jessy Mendiola, who is also making a TV comeback. This is also the first time the couple has made a showbiz appearance together in recent months.

“Ako ang nagdirek nito. (I directed this one),” joked Lucky when asked if he was ready to see his wife on the screen again.

“Seriously, I have to say sa bawat uwi ni Haw Haw (Jessy), sobrang siyang happy sa lahat ng ginawa nilang eksena. Kinuwento niya yung mga eksena niya with Gerald (Anderson), or RK (Bagatsing).

“Nakapag-taping na ako. May endorsement na ako at may mga paparating pa na endorsement. So tuloy-tuloy na ito and I'm very thankful sa tiwala sa akin ng ABS-CBN. May mga brands na naantala because of the campaign period now tuloy-tuloy na. (I've finished taping. I already have an endorsement, and another one is forthcoming. It's an ongoing process, and I'm very thankful for ABS-CBN's trust in me. Some brand (endorsements) were delayed because of the campaign period, but now it's ongoing),” said the versatile entertainment personality.
