Filipinxt presents its spring-summer 2026 collections, showcasing refreshing designs and cultural pride
What was once a dream for many Filipino creatives is now a movement that can be witnessed on one of the world's most-watched runways—New York, USA. Filipinxt debuted in May 2024 and recently wrapped up its fourth season on Sept. 13, 2025, at 4W43 in Midtown Manhattan.
Apart from being one of the Philippines’ top models, Jo Ann Bitagcol also ventured into photography before becoming a fashion designer. Known for her androgynous style, she incorporated vintage Filipiniana prints into her garments, presenting nostalgia through chic, relaxed pieces. “This is our first international show, so we want to stay true to our brand DNA and show where and how it started. Our very own barong Tagalog, ternos, camisa—coming back to life. It’s like the rebirth of lolo and lola, adapting to a new body and time.”
“Project Runway” season 21 winner Veejay Floresca championed women of all shapes and sizes through her choice of models on the runway. Each look showcased styles that exuded feminine power—from sculptural to flowing silhouettes—in bold colors that made a statement. “This eveningwear collection channels the spirit of diverse muses—each one inspiring a different silhouette, texture, and attitude. Designed for women who command attention, the collection redefines eveningwear as both an expression of individuality and a statement of power.”
