FFFCCCII champions resilient and inclusive growth amid global economic challenges

Manila, Philippines -- As the world navigates rising tariffs, protectionist policies, and geopolitical tensions, the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFFCCCII) remains steadfast in its mission to foster resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth in the Philippines.

The ongoing 34th Biennial National Convention, from April 3 to 5, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center, will bring together over 170 Filipino Chinese business chambers and associations nationwide—from Aparri to Tawi-Tawi—to chart a path forward amid global uncertainties.

The Chinese word for “crisis” is made up of two characters-- “wei” meaning “danger” and “ji” meaning “opportunity”. Therefore, the FFFCCCII is hopeful that despite any global or other crises, the Philippines still has many golden opportunities for meaningful reforms and unimpeded progress.

Under the theme “Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Keys to Prosperity,” the convention will highlight strategies to strengthen the Philippine economy despite external pressures, including:
