February inflation rises to 1-year high of 2.4%

The year-on-year rate of increase in prices of basic goods and services rose to a one-year high of 2.4 percent in February, mainly on the back of faster food price hikes.
National Statistician Claire Dennis S. Mapa noted duri press briefing on Thursday, March 5, that the inflation rate recorded last month was higher than both the two percent in January and 2.1 percent in February
