The young actor's recent efforts in the name of charity are nothing short of commendable.

Through social media, we learned of Donny's donation of a million pesos to his primary school, The Learning Tree in Quezon City.

The young actor said he owes his former school a lot for his full development as a person with the right values in life.

A few months later, Donny slashed P300,000 from his earnings to help street vendors whose sad stories he heard on It's Showtime.

Donny reportedly called up Vice Ganda, telling him how he was so touched by the vendors' stories that inspired him to send them financial help.
