DOLE-ECC, DHSUD ink deal for workers' rehab complex

Workers injured in the line of duty will soon find a new home to recover and reclaim their place as productive members of society with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to begin the construction of the country's first Workers Rehabilitation Center Complex (WRCC).

The signing between the Department of Labor and Employment Employees' Compensation Commission (DOLE-ECC) and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) was led by Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma and Secretary Jose Rizalino L. Acuzar on April 14 at the DHSUD Building.
The MOA covers the drafting and preparation of the required project requirements, specifications, terms of reference, and bidding documents for the state-of-the-art WRCC project in Tanay, Rizal, ensuring adherence to the current and relevant industry standards.
