HOW do you mend a broken cello? With cello tape, of course! Ho ho! Sorry, I think I may have pulled one too many Christmas crackers. That always puts me in a funny frame of mind, although not “funny” in the sense of “amusing’, as I believe I've just amply demonstrated.
