Police probe video clip as part of horror smash investigation

It appears to show a car travelling at high-speed down a busy street, with the driver overtaking other cars and veering onto the wrong side of the road. At one point in the clip, the car appears to reach a speed of 122mph.

The M.E.N. understands that the video is believed to have been filmed by an occupant of the Seat Leon involved in the fatal crash on Wigan Road on Sunday. A timestamp on the clip, which has been shared extensively on social media, states that it was filmed at 3am, which is understood to be Saturday morning - just shy of 24 hours before the fatal crash at 12.50am on Sunday.

Detectives at GMP are understood to be probing the clip as part of their investigations.
