Man smashed flower vases at Arena memorial

A MAN who damaged part of the memorial to the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing has been hauled before a judge.
Rico Jones, 20, admitted smashing vases been placed in Victoria station as part of tributes to the 22 people killed in May 2017.
He later claimed he did not understand the significance of his actions at the time.
Greater Manchester Police said the items damaged were subsequently cleaned up, and the area was 'respectfully tidied! Jones suffers from mental health issues, Manchester Magistrates' Court heard.
