Hunt for clues in 'stab' probe

FORENSICS scoured a scene for evidence after a man was seriously injured in a ‘stabbing’.

A huge police scene was put in place near Thornton Street North, Collyhurst, yesterday afternoon following the knife attack.

Emergency services, including police, paramedics and an air ambulance, were scrambled to the scene at around 2.10pm. The area was taped off near to the junction with Kelly Street and Lashbrook Close.
