Road rage chaos as driver rammed into delivery van

CTV footage captured the moment a man in a van deliberately rammed head-on into a delivery driver following a petty road rage row.

David Harper, 64, rammed into the victim using his company’s Mercedes Vito 109 after he had earlier told him to “f*** off’ and berated him for parking outside the entrance to a depot to make an Amazon delivery.

The CCTV showed the moment Harper swerved onto the wrong side of the road to hit the victim's van head-on.

He was then captured reversing his van, turning around and speeding away leaving the victim injured after the crash in Poynton.

The CCTV showed the victim taking a photo of the van as it left the scene.

The deliberate crash happened two miles away from where the initial altercation happened, Chester Crown Court heard. Harper had ‘for some reason’ taken a dislike to the victim during the incident on May 15 last year.

The complainant had first pulled up outside a depot in Poynton to deliver a package.
