Police Dog One, Idiots nil

A FEW years ago, I was a visitor at the famous Crufts Dog Show.

It was very hot in the halls so I snuck out of a side door and sat on a wall getting some air when a rather large policeman wandered over to me and asked what I was doing.

I gave him my business card and told him I was a dog trainer and had come to the show specifically to see the Belgian Malinois at work.

"Well, this is your lucky day," he said pointing to a large Police Van behind us.

"I am in charge of their train ing schedule."

I was absolutely flabbergasted. I had watched the breed on TV but had never seen one in action.
