Insight into rise of United target Dorgu

FC Nordsjaelland technical director Alexander Riget has provided a detailed insight of the type of footballer and character Manchester United will inherit if they complete the signing of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce.

As reported by the Manchester Evening News, United are in talks with the Italian club to try and sign the wing-back ahead of the transfer window closing on February 3.

United are desperate to strengthen their left-sided wing- back options before the bell sounds and Dorgu has been identified as an ideal fit for head coach Ruben Amorim's three-at-the-back formation.

The Danish international, 20, has caught the eye in Serie A so far this season and his versatile profile makes him an attractive option for United. He can play as a right- winger and as a left-sided centre- back in addition to being a left-sided wing-back.
