Disappointed Rowley says hard work is not enough to beat Wigan

Tries from Liam Farrell, Abbas Miski, Jake Wardle, Jai Field and Toby King were enough for the Warriors at the DW Stadium, with Ken Sio replying late on for Salford.

Rowley felt his side created enough chances to get something from the game but their lack of composure at crucial times was their downfall.

He said: "I thought our game followed on from last week.

"I said last week I thought we were rusty with the ball and not clinical enough, but we worked hard.

"Hard work got us through last week, hard work alone will not get you through a game against Wigan.
