Beating art of the city is honoured

Awards night celebrates our leading cultural lights

THE winners at a top awards ceremony celebrating the best of Manchester's culture and arts scene have been announced.

The Manchester Culture Awards have been a staple of the city since 2018 and recognise the individuals, events, festivals and organisations making a difference with their work.

Following a shortlist compiled from votes from members of the public, the winners have been decided by an esteemed panel of judges - and include a south Manchester community radio station and a Hacienda legend.

Hosted by TV and radio personality Jenny Powell with co-hosts Jack So, Lauren Temple and Pelumi Fatayo, the awards ceremony took place at The Hilton Hotel last Saturday.
