November 19, 2025

EMERGENCY services reported that at least two cars ended up stuck in floodwaters after the latest downpours.

Storm Claudia brought almost nonstop rain on Friday, flooding several low-lying roads around Leicestershire.

Among those still closed over the weekend was Main Street, Lockington, near Castle Donington, where it passes underneath the A50 near to junction 24 of the M1.
