Roommate charged in stabbing death of student in Long Beach

A 22-year-old student at Cal State Long Beach was stabbed to death by his roommate inaswift and brutalattack that has left police searching for a motive, authorities said.

Last Saturday morning, Alejandro Iniestra, 34, attacked Spencer Timms and their other roommate witha knife, according to the Long Beach Police Department. Police responded at 10:38 a.m. to the residence in the 1300 block of Temple Avenue, where they found the two men bleeding heavily.
