Singer Jamie on Zoe's Place - and Glastonbury

- By RYAN PATON

JAMIE Webster can't wait to play Glastonbury again.

The Liverpool musician will take to the stage on the Left Field stage today for his fifth performance at Worthy Farm.

The Weekend In Paradise musician has become a festival favourite with his high energy live shows that create an incredible atmosphere. However, he told the ECHO in an exclusive interview why his performance as part of the Radical Round Up will be slightly different from his usual output. He said: "It's not actually as wild as what people would expect, this gig.

"For anyone going to Glastonbury expecting flares and drums and everything, it's probably not like that. It's probably a little bit more Kumbaya, to be honest. It's me talking about some of my songs and then playing them."

The chance to perform at Worthy Farm is the pinnacle for most musicians, and Jamie said it's a dream to have done it so many times.

He added: "I think it's my fifth time performing at Glastonbury now, over four years. To even say that is mad, isn't it? I'm buzzing with the way things are going for me."
