Bookshop dream is now a reality for Peter - and it's packed with 'hidden gems'

A FORMER company director has ditched corporate life to fulfil his lifelong dream, despite risking losing an income.

Peter Frost, from New Brighton, is the brains behind the seaside town's independent community bookshop, Messrs Fletcher & Frost.

The 56-year-old opened the shop after leaving his role as director of World Of Glass in St Helens. The quaint little store supports local authors and prides itself on stocking a "revolving range of hidden gems" often books you won't find in large stores or supermarkets.

The shop is very much a passion project for Peter, who explained how he is determined to make the space thrive in a world that's "dominated by retail and online giants".
