St Helens head coach Paul Wellens will guard against complacency after watching his side brush aside the feeble challenge of Huddersfield to claim their second straight Betfred Super League win at the John Smith's Stadium on Friday night.

Saints have continued to bounce back from their acrimonious loss to Leeds at Magic Weekend, following up last week's thumping 40-0 win over Catalans with an emphatic 46-4 success over Luke Robinson's strugglers.

With hat-trick hero Jack Welsby back close to his best and the continuing emergence of 19-year-old half-back George Whitby, the scenario suddenly looks a lot more rosy for Wellens, who was confronted by an angry supporter after the Newcastle defeat.
