FILMING for a new Hollywood movie is currently taking place in Liverpool city centre.

Film set props have been spotted in one area of the city centre as production begins on anew movie set to hit cinemas next year.

The ECHO believes filming for the new Clayface film, which is set in the Marvel DC Universe, has started at the former Merseyside Police HQ on Canning Place in the city centre.

The disused car park for the empty building is filled with Gotham-themed cars such as police cars, an ambulance and a Gotham Broadcasting Channel news van.
