LIVERPOOL-SET CRIME SHOW A HUGE SUCCESS WITH TV VIEWERS
THE BBC has announced This City Is Ours will return for a second season.
The Liverpool-set crime drama stars James Nelson-Joyce as Michael Kavanagh, a gangster trying to keep his criminal enterprise together as he falls in love for the first time.
The show has been a hit with fans since the first series premiered on March 23. All eight episodes landed on iPlayer on this date and many viewers have already raced through to see how the saga plays out.
The series has been a huge success as it is the BBC’s most watched new drama launch of the year so far.
