IT might be a long old international break for Liverpool as they now get set for the fallout from three successive defeats.

- By PAUL GORST

Saturday evening's 2-1 loss to Chelsea means the Reds have lost successive Premier League games through stoppage-time concessions, having seen Estevao Willian repeat the trick of Crystal Palace's Eddie Nketiah seven days prior. There was also a Champions League defeat at Galatasaray to factor into that sequence too on Tuesday night.

After Moises Caicedo's rocket had given the Londoners the lead at Stamford Bridge, the Reds responded through Cody Gakpo, only for Estevao to strike late and condemn Arne Slot to what is now officially his worst run of form since he arrived at Anfield.

But you knew all of that, of course. What you might have missed, however, were a series of intriguing subplots on the day at Stamford Bridge. Here, as ever, are our moments missed.

Get on with it, Enzo

Enzo Fernandez was flattened twice in the early moments of this one, leading to the Argentina international to demand why a free-kick was not given for either incident by referee Anthony Taylor.
