HUGE crowds gathered to celebrate as a town was given a Christmas makeover.

Singer Natasha Hamilton hosted the festive event in Liscard on Thursday.

The former Atomic Kitten star teamed up with Asda to transform the celebrations. The town was previously dubbed as having the 'worst Christmas tree' in the UK, however, that's not the case this year. There has been a new 30ft Norwegian pine installed with Natasha flicking the switch on the lights.
