LIVERPOOL-BORN ENTREPRENEUR BACKING CHARITIES AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS

Morgan's £100m pledge

OVER the past few decades Liverpool-born entrepreneur Steve Morgan has, through his charity, The Steve Morgan Foundation, given millions to local charities, including supporting the disability newspaper that I founded, All Together NOW!

Now he's pledged to hand out £100m over the next five years to help charities and not-for-profit organisations tackle social disadvantage - and fund groundbreaking research into Type 1 diabetes.

Steve, who founded the housing giant Redrow, said his foundation's bold and ambitious new long-term strategy will invest in sustainable solutions that will change lives.
