VICIOUS ATTACK IN BLACKPOOL WAS CAUGHT ON CCTV

- By MEGAN BANNER

A MAN who repeatedly stamped on a gull in Blackpool and killed it has been jailed.

Anthony Nurse, 31, from Liverpool, was caught on CCTV footage stamping on a bird multiple times before leaving it to die.

At a remote hearing at Preston Magistrates Court on Wednesday, November 19, the court was told footage caught Nurse “kicking out” at a group of gulls on Springfield Road, Blackpool, on December 17 last year.
