STE CLARKE is in no doubt that this could be one of the best weekends of his life.

- By CONNOR O'NEILL

Clarke hoping for a weekend to remember

Clarke returns to the ring on Saturday night when he takes on Luis Enrique Montelongo Morales at the M&S Bank Arena.

The fight will see the former Rotunda ABC man return to the venue where he started his professional boxing journey in January 2024.

Since then, the former Tarleton Academy pupil has enjoyed a nine-fight winning run.

And Evertonian Clarke (right) hopes a victory on Saturday night will be followed by a win for the Blues in Sunday's Merseyside derby.

"This weekend could be one of the best weekends of my life," he tells the ECHO, laughing.

"Hopefully a big performance from me on Saturday and then another big performance from the Blues on Sunday.

"I will be going to the game on Sunday with my dad, brother and girlfriend, so hopefully there will be two big wins this weekend.
