Queues as barbers re-open

Residents in Dumbarton and the Vale were finally able to get a trim five years ago, with hairdressers and barbers reopening for the first time since the Covid lockdown began in March.

There were lengthy queues outside salons and shops throughout the area as locals keen to refresh their look waited to get back inside.

Kirsty Johnston of Peter McCann's barbers said: "It's been a fantastic few days welcoming everyone back to the area's original barbershop.
