WINGER MAY NOT PLAY IN THE FIXTURES BEFORE CHRISTMAS

City winger Jeremy Monga may not play again before Christmas after picking up an injury.Monga was absent from the City squad that won at Derby on Saturday and manager Marti Cifuentes said he had a muscle problem, one that could keep him out for a couple of weeks.

It seems almost certain then that he will miss the fixtures against Bristol City and Ipswich this week, and may not be back in time to face QPR in the final match before Christmas.

City are also still assessing Boubakary Soumare, who has picked up a knee injury in training. The Frenchman was also absent at Pride Park.
