One aggressive horrific disease, three challenges

MORE than 50 cyclists will set out next week to ride from coast to coast.

The ride from Barmouth to Yarmouth to raise money for motor neurone disease (MND) research and support is in honour of David Scott, who was diagnosed with the disease in February last year.

The 330-mile route will be covered in three days, starting on June 12.

Next month, an event in Leicester will also raise money for the cause.

MND Fest, at Saint Andrew's Football Ground in Leicester, on July 5, will have music, stalls, bouncy castle, food and drink.

The money raised from both will be given to the MND Association.
