Murder probe officers arrest six after man dies in house

A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man died inside a house in Leicester.

Police were called to an address in Sawley Street by the ambulance service at 1.37am on Sunday.

A man in his 30s was found with a stab wound at the address and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Following extensive inquiries, six men have been arrested.

Leicestershire Police said one of those men, a 44-year-old, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police said he and the victim were known to each other.
