M&S Food has new stores on the menu

MARKS & Spencer is looking at opening new stores all over Leicestershire as it aims to double the size of its food business.

In total there are about 500 places nationally on the “potential location list” released by the company, which is looking for large locations - of around 18,000 sq ft - that could stock the full range of M&S food.

In Leicestershire, mooted locations include Leicester, Loughborough, Melton, Lutterworth, Oadby, Market Harborough and Ashby.
