SUNBURY Cricket Club's second XI posted a colossal first-innings total before sealing a dominant 113-run victory over Dorking's first XI in a thrilling Surrey Championship Division Three West encounter that showcased outstanding batting performances on both sides.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Sunbury made full use of a flat track and lightning-fast outfield. The foundation was laid by Aaryan Pillai, who delivered a masterclass in controlled aggression. Pillai struck a sublime 157 off 124 balls, featuring 19 fours and four sixes. His knock was well supported by Robbie Hughes, who hammered a ferocious 104 from 73 deliveries, punishing anything loose with 19 boundaries.
