Wall builds another top break as Elite A romp to big victory

Top break-builder Anthony Wall set defending champions Elite A on course for a dominant whitewash victory over Acregate B in the Preston and District Snooker League.

Wall fell just two points short of a century break as 108-27 helped his men to a 7-0 success.

Aidan Gallagher then followed with a 51-break and Adrian Wilding had a run of 36.

The youngsters then came to the fore as 13-year-old Jack Wilding knocked in breaks of 49 and 25, while Jackson Pope (14) produced a 25 break.

Second placed Fulwood Red are keeping up and are five points behind the leaders but have a game in hand next week after a 6-1 home win against St Gregory's A.
