University rules out arena car park charge

The city's university has ruled out any proposals to charge for car parking at the Cottam-based sports pitches it operates.

Preston Sports Arena, based in the North West of the city, had been subject to posts in an Ashton-based Facebook group claiming the University of Lancashire was readying to charge.
