Some things at uni just don't change – like the people

Took a few days off last week so decided to visit son and heir at uni - and to a certain extent, try to recapture my lost youth (I'm sure I had it locked in the cellar but here we are...)

And although where I studied was a very different place from where he is, some things absolutely do not change.

Traffic cones still make great hats and celebrity cardboard cutouts remain the room decoration of choice.

The obligatory student night out-ours was Monday, his is Wednesday - is still going strong, the city streets crammed with 18-year-olds living it up in giddy oblivion.
