Fulwood Blue hit the front after big win at Broughton

The Preston and District Snooker League Division One has new leaders, with Fulwood Blue taking a one-point lead thanks to a 6-1 win at Broughton A.

Craig Davies knocked in breaks of 27 and 25 in his 59-43 win. There were also big wins for Ben Robinson 92-16, George Reynolds 73-25, Liam Wilson 86-39 and Mehl Singh 78-36.

Elite A sit just one point behind in second after a very close 4-3 away win at Eccleston. Elite stormed to a 3-0 lead thanks to Anthony Wall's 55 clearance to win 85-47.

Aidan Gallagher made breaks of 40 and 32 to win 103-34 and Chris Norbury made breaks of 41 and 38 to win 96-23. Back came Eccleston though with Chris Hatton winning 69-17 to make it 3-1.
