Free gym passes to mark end of revamp project

Free gym passes are being given out as South Ribble Borough Council nears the end of a major investment programme at four leisure centres.

The council has been carrying out much needed work to its four centres, including improving gym, pool, changing and reception areas as well as improving energy efficiency.

Coun Clare Hunter, cabinet member for leisure and wellbeing said: “We've said from the start that it was our aim to have quality and affordable centres available for people locally and it’s been great to see all the works across our four centres progress.
