Appeal for dashcam footage after 'wrong-way' fatal crash

A man in his 50s died at the scene near Charnock Richard services after driving the wrong-way down the motorway shortly after 9.30pm on Sunday evening.

Lancashire Police as part of their investigation say the Vauxhall Astra being driven by the man who died may have been involved in a crash in Preston minutes earlier.

They want to speak to anyone who may have been around the Hesketh Arms roundabout where New Hall Lane and Blackpool Road meet before joining the A59 at Brockholes Brow.
