There's a lot of talk about how expensive and time-consuming games are to make these days, with AAA studios often playing it safe but delivering underwhelming games.

It’s particularly refreshing then to dig into Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a game made by a new French studio with a modest budget and much larger aspirations.
