Double delight as eggs hatch at osprey nest

Two out of three osprey eggs have hatched at Loch Doon, with East Ayrshire Leisure saying they are"thrilled" by the news.

The first chick arrived on Friday, May 16 with the second following on Saturday, May 17.

Local wildlife enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that East Ayrshire's resident Ospreys Angel and Frankie are proud parents again.

This marks another successful breeding year for the pair, whose nesting site has become a focal point for the local community and conservation awareness.
