Terror, Trade & Technology Dominate Modi's G7 Pitch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing world leaders at the G7 Outreach Session on Thursday, called for decisive global action against countries that support terrorism, specifically naming India's neighbourhood as a “breeding ground” for such activities-a veiled reference to Pakistan.

Citing the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Modi described it as a “direct assault on the soul, identity, and dignity of every Indian” and said turning a blind eye to terrorism for vested interests would be “a betrayal of humanity.”

“Terrorism is the enemy of humanity. There must be no place for double standards,” Modi said. “Are we truly serious about addressing terrorism? Will we act only when it knocks on our own doors?”
