SDM Orders Relocation Of Somu Stand In Pattan

In a significant step to improve transport facilities for the people of Pattan in north Kashmir, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Pattan has ordered the relocation of the Somu stand from its current location near the old hospital to the newly established passenger stand on the National Highway, adjacent to the Tehsil office.

The order, issued under No. SDMP/reader//20x5-26/683 dated 12-08-2025, states: “It is true that nobody can defy the orders of the court and furthering may reduce the sanctity of the order passed by the competent court. Therefore, considering the circumstances projected in the application, the application is allowed.”
