NIT Hosts First Alumni Association Meeting Post Registration

Srinagar: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar on Tuesday hosted the inaugural meeting of its newly registered Alumni Association of NIT Srinagar (AANITS), marking a significant step in strengthening alumni engagement and global outreach.

The meeting served as a platform for detailed deliberations on building a robust alumni network, launching global chapters, and institutionalizing mentorship opportunities for students. It was presided over by Er. Aamir Ali Mir, Vice President of AANITS and Director of Disaster Management, J&K. Prof. Mohammad Shafi Mir, President AANITS, Prof MA Shah, Dean Alumni & International Affairs, welcomed the members and led the proceedings, which also focused on planning the 2025 Alumni Meet and enhancing global alumni outreach.
