J&K Assembly Budget Session Likely in 2 Phases

The budget session of the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly is likely to be held in two partsthe first before the holy month of Ramazan and the second after Eid-ul-Fitr, sources said.

Sources said that the NC-led government is considering holding the budget session in two phases.

“If all goes as per plan, the first part of the session will be held before the beginning of the holy month of Ramazan. With the commencement of Ramazan, the Assembly will go on a month-long recess, after which the session will resume following Eid-ul-Fitr," sources disclosed, adding that the government is currently contemplating the timetable along these lines.
