Year groups unite for a magical night of song and dance

LEARNING has woven its spell and captured and enraptured children at Newington Community Primary in Ramsgate.

The last term has been centred on a range of magic moments and experiences for all age groups that has left them enchanted.

Key experiences included a whole-school trip to London's theatreland to see acclaimed musicals amid the glitz and glamour of the West End - Years 1 and 2 were dazzled by Matilda while Years 5 and 6 were wowed by Wicked.

Inspired by their visits, during the following weeks pupils learnt dance routines, songs and used their acting skills to create videos.

It culminated with a sparkling show that involved all pupils both onstage and off in an energetic production called Magic Moments.
