|May 30, 2025
SIGNIFICANT changes are on the horizon for healthcare in east Kent, with more convenient access to vital diagnostic tests expected to launch later this year.
-
A new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) will open as part of the upcoming Thanet Health Hub, bringing faster, easier healthcare.
The Thanet CDC will be based in the Carey Building in Northwood Road, Broadstairs.
Once open, it will offer a wide range of essential diagnostic services, including MRI scans, blood tests, respiratory tests, and echocardiograms.
The new centre will help expand capacity and ease pressure on existing services, boosting both resilience and sustainability for diagnostics across the region.
